Our Opportunity: Alcohol Compliance Specialist

Status: Full Time Day Shift 

Hours: 8-hour shift – 8am–4:30pm, etc. 

Schedule: Monday – Friday shifts

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience

Summary

This position assists in the documentation, oversight, and control of all alcohol inventory both for customers as well as the company while specializing in the posting in various customer systems and management of respective reporting.

What You Will Be Doing 

• Coordinates, monitors, maintains, and performs all internal and external compliance efforts such as mandated reporting, licensing, and inventory for the compliance department.
• Verifies clerical computations and reports errors in computation or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bill of ladings, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Assist and support all compliance activities including internal, customer, and 3rd party audits.
• Makes recommendations regarding areas of responsibility to meet all compliance requirements.
• Operates computer to input and retrieve data.
• Prepare, post and extract data as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by customers and managers.
• Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.
• Other duties may be assigned

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Windows, and Teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of corporate communication and compliance experience leading and directing in a high-speed production environment

Job Setting 

This role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including standing for extended periods, walking on occasionally slippery floors, and handling equipment or materials. 

Due to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions including heat and cold.  

The work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor.

Alcohol is an ingredient in products we produce.  We are unable to guarantee specific positions, work schedules or work environments that do not include working around alcohol.
